The Girls

Blaire and her new friend, Allison. They are 4 months apart. Little do they know that they will become friends fast. Even though they are only 4 months apart, Blaire out weighs her new friend by almost 10 pounds. Blaire is now 20.5 pounds and 28 inches long. We grow them big in this Kirch family.

Gymnastics With Daddy

Kendal and Daddy are taking gymnastics. Every Wednesday night they go and have a wonderful time flipping and flopping all over. Chris says it's kinda weird because he's the only Daddy in the group. I know all of those women are jealous because they don't have great husbands like I do. Every time they get home, Kendal is so excited to tell me all about it. She keeps asking me to come and watch her, so I finally went and took some pictures.

We went to the lake house this weekend. Chris' parents Bob and Mary came along with us. We had so much fun!  We went across the lake to walk around Havasu, and it was so windy that the ferry couldn't take us back to the other side. We were stuck on the Arizona side for a few hours.  Kendal didn't care, she was having so much fun feeding the birds with her Grandpa. 

We go to story time at the library every week.  It is one of Kendal's favorite things to do.  Now that Blaire is getting bigger, Kendal loves to sing her the songs and have her sit down on the floor like a big girl.  Kendal is very much in love with her little sister.

Our Christmas Vacation

Welcome to our new blog.  We finally decided to get involved in the whole blogging world....so here it goes.  

We have been very busy these last couple of weeks.  We went to California for Christmas and we had an awesome time!!  Kendal and Blaire were very excited to see their Grandma,Papa and Auntie Missy.  Kendal was especially excited to see her favorite cousin, Kali.  She followed Kali around every where she went.  It was so funny.  Everything was, "Kali this, and Kali that."  Kendal still talks about how her and Kali played dolls, and how her and Kali played in the rain.  

Everyone was not so surprised to see how big Blaire has gotten.  She is now 19 pounds....which is just about the same weight that Kendal was at this age.  I guess we just grow big babies!  She received some 9 month pajamas and outfits, and we are now wearing them every day, because in about a week, they won't fit any more!   

Christmas night we decided to go to Phoenix to see the other half of our family.  We left California at 8pm and got into Phoenix at around 3am their time.  We called the house when we were close, but no one answered.  So we opened the garage and started knocking on the door.  Still....no answer.  Called the house again and nothing.  No one.   So I started knocking VERY hard on the back door and finally Aron answered the door, in his underwear.   Apparently they had thought that someone might be breaking in.  I guess their had been a home invasion a couple doors down the month earlier.  Nice.  I know we really scared Bob and Aron.  Mary was still sleeping, so I sent Lulu in to wake her up.  They were sooo excited!  

We ended up having a great time in Phoenix seeing all of the family.  We were able to see all of our relatives from Chicago and Wisconsin.  So fun!!!
